Visitors to the iconic Eden Project expecting the calm and serene world of plants and gardens will be surprised by a very different attraction this weekend. As of this Friday (July 20th) one Cornwall’s premiere tourist attractions will be home to the longest zip wire ride in England. Soaring high above the famous biomes and gardens the ride measures some 2,165ft (660) metres in length providing a spectacular and unique view of the Project and surrounding countryside with views as far as the sparkling sea of St Austell Bay. The ride takes some 60 seconds and reaches truly eye watering speeds of up to 40 miles an hour.

CLC Trenython Manor provides an ideal base from which to visit the Eden Project as well exploring the surrounding Cornish countryside and coastline. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens, this award winning country house hotel and luxury lodge resort is located between the picturesque ancient ports of Fowey and Charlestown and overlooks St Austell Bay. CLC Trenython Manor currently has a special offer of two and three night exclusive Cornish garden breaks with dinner, bed & breakfast and free tickets to Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
