The resort has retained its prestigious Gold Level CHEFS Award for commitment to healthy menu options using locally sourced food, as well as its 5 star kitchen cleanliness rating, for the 2nd successive year.
CHEFS (Cornwall Healthier Eating and Food Safety) was created by the county council’s Public Health and Protection Services in partnership with the Eatsome Programme, part of the NHS Health Promotion Services and change 4 life initiative.
“We were delighted our kitchen staff, led by head chef Richard Bennett, breezed this accolade last year, but not to lose it is proud testament to the hard work and commitment to ensure are high standards do not slip,” said resort manager Nick Waddington.
CLC Trenython Manor’s diners can always rely on being able to select ‘healthy choice’ dishes made from locally sourced ingredients as part of the menu, created in kitchens where hygiene is uppermost. Recognition by the local authority for this achievement is always highly appreciated, said Mr Waddington.
