Booking Conditions

All Reservations

The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all reservations, whether made online at or made by telephone or in person.


At the time of making your reservation, if booking on a non-refundable rate this will be immediately charged to your debit or credit card. We accept payment by American Express, MasterCard and Visa. Any remaining balance will be due for payment upon arrival at the resort and may be made by debit/credit card or cash. We reserve the right in some cases to charge your credit or debit card provided at time of booking with the full amount of your stay prior to arrival as per our cancellation policy. A card pre-authorisation will be required to cover incidentals during your stay. “Special Offers”, including “Advance Purchase Offers” reservations with non-refundable rates, are paid in full at the time of booking. “Flexi Rates” allows free cancellation up to 7 days prior to arrival, then at a 50% charge for those cancellations between 48 hours and 7  days prior to arrival for hotel rooms and lodges booked for up to three nights, within 48 hours the full payment will be taken. For lodges this will be 8 weeks prior to arrival for lodges 4 night stays and above, after which full payment will be taken from credit card provided at time of booking. All group bookings of 5 or more rooms are required to pay a £50 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking and the full balance will be charged 7 days prior to arrival. Bookings made by third parties’ agents where no agreement is in place, will require a full non refundable payment at time of booking. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings that have not been paid in full. We shall endeavour to place groups travelling together as close as possible but please note that we cannot always guarantee specified lodges.


All rates quoted are per room per night and are subject to availability and include Tax & Services. Special rates quoted cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion. If a lower rate is found within two hours of booking, a price guarantee claim must be submitted to together with a screen shot showing the booking details and the lower quoted rate. Any claim must be submitted within 24 hours of booking and also must be received no less than one day prior to the arrival date to allow time for claim to be processed. The price guarantee does not apply to any non-public rates or pre agreed rates with specific groups, clubs or organisations. No claims can be submitted based on fluctuations or disparity in currency exchange rates. Trenython Manor Hotel and Resort reserves the right to modify or cancel the guaranteed rate at any time without prior notice.

Cancellation policy:

Any non-refundable booking there will be no refund if the booking is subsequently cancelled.

Hotel Rooms cancellation policy

  • If cancelled up to seven days before date of arrival, there will be no cancellation fee.
  • If cancelled between 48 hours and 7 days, 50% of the total cost of your stay will be charged.
  • If cancelled within 48 hours of arrival the full cost of the accommodation will be taken.

Lodges cancellation policy

For any lodges booked for up to three nights

  • If cancelled up to seven days before date of arrival, there will be no cancellation fee.
  • If cancelled within 7 days of arrival, the total cost of your stay will be charged.

For any lodges booked for more than three nights

  • If cancelled up to eight weeks before date of arrival, there will be no cancellation fee.
  • If cancelled within 8 weeks of arrival there will be no refund.

When using an online promotional code or online offer, bookings are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

Vacating Rooms

Hotel bedrooms are normally available from 4pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Self-catering lodges are available from 4pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Where possible we try and accommodate early check ins or late check outs but please note that this is subject to availability and resort operational needs.

Restaurant Bookings

The restaurant at our resort is very popular and we therefore regret that we cannot guarantee availability of tables for all guests staying in our self-catering lodges. We strongly recommend making a dinner reservation ahead of arrival by contacting us directly or online at . We recommend if dinner is booked on DB&B bases that guests reserve a time for a table prior arrival.

Use of Leisure Centre

Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted into the swimming pool unless accompanied by an adult and supervision is required at all times. Children under the age of 16 years are not allowed to use the fitness equipment., Jacuzzi, sauna or steam room. Children over the age of 5 years are not allowed to use changing rooms of the opposite gender. Additional information is displayed at the Leisure Centre. The purpose of these restrictions is to ensure the well being and enjoyment of all users. All users of the leisure centre are required to register before admittance into the Leisure Centre.


To ensure the enjoyment of all guests please note that with the exception of Guide Dogs, pets are not allowed in the hotel, we do offer some Dog-Friendly Lodges and dogs are allowed in the  grounds and on the terraces. We do ask that they are always kept on a lead and under control and owners clear up behind their dogs immediately on every occasion.


We strongly recommend that all customers take out adequate travel insurance to safeguard against risks such as theft, accident or the cost of cancelling a holiday.

Force Majeure

Trenython Manor Hotel and Resort cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of the contract is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which amount to “force majeure”. Circumstances amounting to “force majeure” include any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include the destruction or damage of your accommodation (which cannot reasonably be remedied to a satisfactory standard before the start of your stay) through fire, flood, explosion, storm or other weather damage, break-in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity, epidemic and all similar situations beyond our control.
